NIV Photo Requirements
- Full-face photo taken within the last six (6) months
- A "full-face" photo is one in which the applicant is facing the camera directly.
- The applicant should not be looking down or to either side, and the face should cover 50 percent of the area of the photo.
- The head of the applicant, including the face and hair, should be shown.
- The ears should be exposed.
- Photos with sunglasses, facemasks or veils are not acceptable.
- The applicant must be clearly identifiable from the photograph.
- Photos of military, airline or other personnel wearing hats are not acceptable.
- Photos of applicants wearing tribal or other headgear, not specifically religious in nature, are not acceptable.
- Photograph should measure 1 1/2 to 2 inches square.
- Photograph must be stapled to the application form.
- Photograph should be in color with a white background.
