EducationUSA Advising Center

The EducationUSA Advising Center of the Public Affairs Section of the American Embassy, Ouagadougou provides Educational Advising Services 20 hours per week.

The services consist mainly of:

  • advising prospective students in one-on-one advising sessions during walk-in visits to the EducationUSA Center; and
  • providing information and answering questions about American Colleges and Universities and the U.S. Educational System by mail, phone, fax or e-mail.
  • Assisting students throughout the application process

A variety of reference books, information materials, CD-ROMs, and videotapes on American Institutions of Post-Secondary Education and on the U.S. Educational System are also available for consultation during working hours.

1:30 PM to 5:00 PM for group sessions.
Monday through Thursday
7:30 AM to 12:00 AM for individual research
and 13:30 PM to 17:00 PM for individual research
The Educational Advising Center is closed during American and Burkinabe holidays.
