The American Corners

The American Cultural Center has three American corners in three provinces of Burkina Faso. Americans Corners are a partnership between the Public Affairs Section of the Embassy of the United States of America and the host institutions. They provide access to recent and reliable information about the United States of America through books, the Internet and local programs for the public. Sponsored jointly by the United States Embassy and the host institutions, American corners serve as an outpost of information, similar to a public library and reference services. The multimedia, books and periodicals are available. The reading rooms and meeting facilities are available to accommodate the programs and activities such as readings, films, programs, workshops, meetings and exhibitions. The three American corners are as follows:

-- The American Corner in Bobo-Dioulasso is located at the Espace Rencontre Jeunesse de Dafra

01 BP 2581 Bobo-Dioulasso Telephone 20.97.87.69

-- The American Corner in Zorgho located inside the CLAC of Zorgho

-- The American Corner in Fada N'Gourma is located in the Centre de Lecture Publique et d’animation Culturelle.
