The Consular Section

The Consular Section's main responsibilities are American Citizen Services (ACS), Nonimmigrant Visas (NIV) and Immigrant Visas (IV).
The Consular Section is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM and on Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM local time.  Nonimmigrant visa interviews are held on Monday and Thursday mornings between 8:30 AM and 11:30 AM, and, in summer, on Wednesday mornings during the same hours for students.  American Citizen Services are limited to emergency services during Nonimmigrant visa interview hours.  The local time is equivalent to GMT. The Consular Section is closed during American and local holidays.
