Warden Message

Town Hall Meeting Invitation

All wardens, American citizens and their immediate family are invited to join Ambassador Jeanine Jackson and members of the U.S. Embassy for a Town Hall meeting at her residence on Friday, April 18th, 2008 at 6:00 p.m.  Various members of the U.S. Embassy will present information on the warden system, absentee voting, and the security situation in Burkina Faso.  Embassy staff will also be available to respond to general questions.  If you have any concerns that you would like the U.S. Embassy to address at the meeting, please send an e-mail to Consularouaga@state.gov.  Please confirm your attendance via this email address, or by calling 50-30-67-23.  Light refreshments will be served.

The Town Hall’s program will be as follows:
6:00 p.m. - Welcome by Deputy Chief of Mission, David E. Brown
6:15 p.m. -  Remarks by Ambassador Jeanine Jackson
6:30 p.m. – Presentation by Regional Security Officer on security situation 
7:00 p.m. – Presentation by Consular Section
7:15 -  Additional Questions and Discussion

To facilitate your access to the Embassy, please arrive before 6:00 p.m., and bring your U.S. passport.
